SKILLED CABINETMAKER
LOCATION: 22 Ingram Dr. Unit 3
We have an immediate opening for an amazingly talented, creative and passionate skilled cabinetmaker to join our team at our shop near Keele and Eglinton.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build and assemble custom cabinets, furniture, and millwork according to design specifications and project requirements. 
- Read 2D and 3D design drawings using Sketchup, Layout and AutoCad and translate into workable cut lists. 
- Ensure the highest level of craftsmanship, attention to detail, and quality in all finished products. 
- Coordinate and fabricate projects from start to finish, including cut lists, material take offs, site visits and occasional deliveries and installations. 
- Problem-solve and adapt to changes in project scope or design. 
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols. 
- Assist in training and mentoring junior cabinetmakers when required. 
SKILLS
- At least 3+ years experience in hands on cabinetry and furniture making. 
- An excellent understanding of cabinetry materials and processes. 
- You must be creative, passionate, detail and goal oriented. 
- You must have a keen sense of current design, furniture and home decor trends. 
- You are a self starter, a problem solver, able to multi-task, highly efficient, organized, dependable and flexible. 
- Proficient in the English language. 
- Compensation to be calculated based on experience. 
JUNIOR CABINETMAKER
LOCATION: 22 Ingram Dr. Unit 3
We have an immediate opening for an amazingly talented, creative and passionate junior cabinetmaker to join our team at our shop near Keele and Eglinton.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in the construction and assembly of custom cabinets, furniture, and millwork according to design specifications. 
- Operate and maintain woodworking machinery, hand tools, and precision measuring instruments under the guidance of experienced cabinetmakers. 
- Collaborate with senior team members to interpret blueprints, sketches, and plans. 
- Coordinate and fabricate projects from start to finish, including cut lists, material take offs, site visits and occasional deliveries and installations. 
- Uphold Etherington Designs' commitment to craftsmanship, precision, and quality. 
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols. 
SKILLS
- Basic knowledge of woodworking techniques, materials, and tools is a plus. 
- An excellent understanding of cabinetry materials and processes. 
- You must be creative, passionate, detail and goal oriented. 
- Strong attention to detail and a desire for precision. 
- You are a self starter, a problem solver, able to multi-task, highly efficient, organized, dependable and flexible. 
- Effective communication and teamwork skills. 
- Enthusiasm for woodworking and a desire to grow and excel in the field. 
- Proficient in the English language.
